We the undersigned petition Surrey County Council to Street Dressing for Osborne, Cranford and Hillingdon Avenue. More details

More details from petition creator

Osborne Avenue is one of the main roads that link Hillingdon Avenue and Cranford Avenue to Long Lane; with an average traffic of 62 vehicles a day on duration of one week, the yearly traffic is estimated at 22,568 vehicles with a ratio of 12% motorcycles, 74% cars+SUVs and 14% Vans. Due to the high the traffic, these three avenues have countless loose chippings, debris, bumps and cracks. Surface dressing work should be undertaken to allow tyre stabilisation, prevents much harder work being needed later by extending the life of the roads by up to 15 years and also is comparatively cheap at just a fifth of the price of resurfacing. This work is necessary to maintain the standards expected of Stanwell roads and improve the forthcoming community.
