Unfortunately this petition has not met the number of signatures required to be heard at a Local Committee meeting. This matter was raised as a public question at the Local Committee meeting in December 2017 and the full question and response can be found on the website

Replace the currently small and obscured speed restriction signs with larger more visible signage. Electronic matrix sign, Introduce traffic calming measures that force drivers to comply with 30 mph speed limit.

Excessive traffic speed in 30 mph designated zone. Traffic speed sign damaged or obscured by foliage. Several near misses of dog walkers crossing road into field. Danger to children and cyclists. Cars fly down hollow lane towards junction of Dormans high street . Cars frequently involved in near misses due to blind bend and excessive speed. Other residents on the road have also raised concerns. Install a matrix type electronic speed sign to visually warn drivers. Road is narrowed down to single carriageway with residents cars parked on offside. Speed limit needs to be enforced.
